The Wild Edges Project
Millbrook Closed Graveyard

An enriching and rejuvenating mental health and well-being-focused weekend for the community; in the peaceful surroundings of the local churchyard. This weekend of workshops is designed to help people reconnect with the amazing tranquillity of the community churchyard. Find inner peace, and cultivate a strong sense of wellbeing through various activities such as immersive sound baths, nature bathing, meditation, yoga, and mindfulness walks that encapsulate the beautiful biodiversity and historical significance of this sacred community space.

This session is... Yoga in Nature, Vinyasa Flow with Lowenna Mcgrellis!

A peaceful yet energising practice led by the breath, Vinyasa yoga captures the natural flow of life. Your teacher, Lowenna, will guide you through an unforgettable yoga session surrounded by the beauty of the wildflowers, grasses, and trees within the peaceful closed community churchyard. All levels of yoga confidence are welcome.

We will be meeting in the Millbrook Closed Graveyard at 10.30am and concluding our activities at 12.00pm. Attendees are welcome to join in and learn as little or as much as they would like, so don't feel obligated to stay for the whole session... though we think you might want to! There's also no need to book, simply turn up on the day and all equipment will be provided.

Adults and children are welcome to join us without charge and this funded day is part of our Wild Edges project to bring local residents even closer to the nature on their doorstep. For more information, please contact our team.
