Dry stone walling is a wonderfully satisfying and historically important heritage craft that has survived across generations for its great number of logistical and environmental benefits. Join tutor, Robbie Ryder, for a day of learning, building stone walls at a relaxed pace, using only a few hand tools and without the aid of cement or mortar. In addition to this course taking place among the stunning vistas of our Cornish apiary and orchard, many find the activity to be incredibly theraputic, as well as drawing immense satisfaction in learning a new skill that can then be applied to land elsewhere.
This course takes place at our Horsepool Apiary between 10am and 3pm. All essential equipment will be supplied and we simply advise that you dress appropriately for the weather and with strong shoes. Logistics for the event, including meeting points and parking information, will be emailed soon after your booking is made.
