Join Vix Hill-Ryder in idyllic Kingsand, as she showcases the amazing wild foods to be found along the Cornish seafront. Finding and gathering seasonal delights, you will learn how to identify, collect, and prepare a number of delicious ingredients, as well as come to learn about the history and culture surrounding seaweeds and coastal plants. After getting hands on with an array of the season's most delicious foods, the course will culminate in a cokery demonstration and tasting session held by, demonstrating how these wonderful flavours can easily become a regular part of your diet.
This course begins at 10.30 and concludes at 1.30pm. Please do make a note of any dietary requirements you might have when booking as we like to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the recipes we taste at the end of the session. Adult foraging walk tickets are £30 and we welcome children to attend for free. Please, however, do let us know if any children will be in attendance, so that we can keep track of numbers! Unfortuantely, we find that our walks are unsuitable for dogs and ask that they are not brought along with you. Logistics for the foraging course will be sent via email after the booking is made.
