Foraging New Winter Greens
Maker Heights
Out of stock
While the ground remains frosty, the first few months of the year are still a wonderful time to forage, especially within Cornwall where there are a number of delicious winter greens to be found and eaten. Join our head forager, Vix Hill-Ryder, atop the beautiful Maker Heights for a three hour foraging walk through the hedgerow where you will learn all about the wild foods that can (and should!) become a part of your seasonal diet.
At the end of the walk, Vix will host a cooking and tasting session to showcase exactly how these wild ingredients can be incorporated into your own meals easily. You'll be able to eat the foraged foods you've learned about, learn and taste exciting recipes, and build your own confidence to begin collecting and eating your own wild ingredients.
This course begins at 10.30 and concludes at 1.30pm. Please do make a note of any dietary requirements you might have when booking as we like to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the recipes we taste at the end of the session. Adult foraging walk tickets are £25 and we welcome children to attend for free. Please, however, do let us know if any children will be in attendance, so that we can keep track of numbers! Unfortuantely, we find that our walks are unsuitable for dogs and ask that they are not brought along with you. Logistics for the foraging course will be sent via email after the booking is made.
