Cornish stone hedge laying has maintained its historical importance for practical, aesthetic, and environmental reasons. These dividers of land are also valued for their robust character and, although they require maintenance, a properly constructed Cornish hedge will easily survive for a hundred years. In addition to their long history across the region, with a variety of stone laying styles and regional beauty, these walls also provide an ample environment for various forms of life too.
This course, led by our heritage craftsman, Robbie Ryder, who will offer an introduction to Cornish stone hedge laying, teaching you the fundamentals of building and repairing your own structure. The course takes place between 10am and 3pm, under the guidance of Robbie Ryder, and at our education site outside of Sheviock. Tools will be provided and logistics will be sent to you soon after booking.

Following this time, we will be unable to offer a refund (except in certain cases) as it is unlikely we will be able to fill the course.
