In this Zoom class, Vix Hill-Ryder guides you around Kingsand Bay, teaching you how to identify, pick, and eat the delicious seaweeds available at the beginning of the year. Learn about a variety of edible coastal plants, as well as their nutritional and medicinal benefits, realising just how wonderful the seafront can be for your diet.

Our aim is to give you the confidence and knowledge to go out and pick seaweed yourself!

While we will be broadcasting from Cornwall, the seaweeds discussed are common among most of the British coast, so there will be plenty for you to learn! Tickets cost £8 and the class will commence at 11am on February 27th and we will broadcast two forty minute sessions, with a break between the two allowing us to both relocate and answer your questions!

The broadcast will also be recorded and sent to you following the event.
