The Minnadhu

Join Vix Hill-Ryder as she explores the abundant hedgerows of the Minnadhu, overlooking Kingsand and Cawsand Bay, collecting hearty roots, young winter greens, and other wild delights to create wonderful dishes such as sauerkraut, salads, and seasonal coleslaws. Even though the winter weather can be challenging, especially on the Cornish coast, Janaury is a brilliant time to explore the landscape and the reward is unique flavours found only at this time of year.

This course begins at 10.30 and concludes at 1.30pm. Please do make a note of any dietary requirements you might have when booking as we like to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the recipes we taste at the end of the session. Adult foraging walk tickets are £30 and we welcome children to attend for free. Please, however, do let us know if any children will be in attendance, so that we can keep track of numbers! Unfortuantely, we find that our walks are unsuitable for dogs and ask that they are not brought along with you. Logistics for the foraging course will be sent via email after the booking is made.
