Join our guided walk across the Minnadhu as our head forager, Vix Hill-Ryder, teaches you all about the delicious and nutritious seasonal wild foods growing on the Mt. Edgcumbe Estate. Learn not only how to identify and harvest your own food, but also how to cook and create with them too, building your confidence and knowledge so that you can begin seeing the hedgerow for what it truly is - a feast!
The walk starts at 10.30am and lasts three hours, culminating in a cookery demonstration using the ingredients foraged on the day. Logistics for the event, including meeting points and parking information, will be emailed soon after your booking is made. We welcome you to bring your children along for free but we ask that you please let us know their attendance in advance of the day.
Disclaimer: If a course is cancelled by the Family Foraging Kitchen, such as in the event of unsuitable weather conditions, alternative dates will be made available, as well as the option of a full refund. Customers are also welcome to swap their booking for another course (subject to availability) or request a refund until seven days before the course takes place. Following this time, we will be unable to offer a refund (except in certain cases) as it is unlikely we will be able to fill the course.
