Discover the world of garden birds and their nesting habits as our expert woodcrafter, Robbie Ryder, shares his knowledge and skills. On this course children will learn how to carve and sculpt a log into a home for this coming year's nesting birds. Using axes, draw-knifes, shave horses, and other hand tools, we will make two box types and you will be able to take your finished boxes home to put up in your gardens. So grab your mums, dads, grans & grandads and come along for a day full of fun and learning!

The course takes place between 10am and 2pm at our heritage craft education centre just ouside of Sheviock, Cornwall. Ticket price includes one adult and one child. Children aged between 8 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Discount is available for those parents attending with multiple children. Please contact us for more details.
