Join Vix Hill-Ryder as she explores the winter hedgerow to demonstrate exactly why the colder season is a superb time to get outside and forage in Cornwall. While the climate may have cooled, there are an abundance of delicious ingredients to find, from young winter greens to hearty roots, all of which can be transformed into fantastic dishes, preserves, and pickles. So, don't let the winter pass you by, use it as a time to gather ingredients for your kitchen and cupboards, filling them with flavours only found at this time of year!

This course begins at 10.30 and concludes at 1.30pm. Please do make a note of any dietary requirements you might have when booking as we like to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the recipes we taste at the end of the session. Adult foraging walk tickets are £30 and we welcome children under 12 years old to attend for free. Please, however, do let us know if any children will be in attendance, so that we can keep track of numbers! Unfortuanately, we find that our walks are unsuitable for dogs and ask that they are not brought along with you. Logistics for the foraging course will be sent via email after the booking is made.

Disclaimer: If a course is cancelled by the Family Foraging Kitchen, such as in the event of unsuitable weather conditions, alternative dates will be made available if appropriate, as well as the option of a full refund. Following this time, we will be unable to offer a refund (except in certain cases) as it is unlikely we will be able to fill the course.
