The Edible Seaweeds of the Coast
Kingsand, Cornwall

In stock

Take a 2-hour guided walk with expert forager, Vix Hill-Ryder, across the stunning shoreline of Kingsand. Learn about the Cornish coast's edible seaweeds, including their flavours, nutritional information, and how to begin identifying and harvesting your own. Once you've finished examining and foraging the shore, you'll get to join a cookery demonstration and tasting session, showcasing how to cook the wild ingredients you've picked!

This course takes place between 13.00pm and 15.00pm at Kingsand, Cornwall, suiting the day's tide. We recommend bringing a notepad and/or camera along with you to help record and later, recall the wild foods you encounter, as well as a container and a pair of scissors if you'd like to collect your own ingredients. Adult foraging walk tickets are £30 and we welcome children under 12 years old to attend for free, however, please let us know if any children will be in attendance, so that we can keep track of numbers! Unfortunately, we find that our walks are unsuitable for dogs and ask that they are not brought along with you. Logistics for the foraging course will be sent via email after the booking is made.
