Edges & Woodlands of SW Coastal Path
Cawsand Bay to Penlee Point

In stock

A 3-hour guided walk from Cawsand Bay to Penlee Point with our head forager, Vix Hill-Ryder. Learn all about the edible wonders that can be found along one of the most beautiful stretches of Cornish coast, including the available culinary and medicinal resources that you find across throughout meadows, hedgerows, and woodland. The walk will culminate in a cookery and tasting session, demonstrating how to prepare and eat the harvested wild ingredients.

This course takes place between 10.30am and 1:30pm. We recommend bringing a notepad and/or camera along with you to help record and, later, recall the wild foods you encounter. Adult foraging walk tickets are £30 and we welcome children under 12 years to attend for free. Please, however, do let us know if any children will be in attendance, so that we can keep track of numbers! Unfortunately, we find that our walks are unsuitable for dogs and ask that they are not brought along with you. Logistics for the foraging course will be sent via email after the booking is made

Disclaimer: If a course is cancelled by the Family Foraging Kitchen, such as in the event of unsuitable weather conditions, alternative dates will be made available, as well as the option of a full refund. Customers are also welcome to swap their booking for another course (subject to availability) or request a refund until seven days before the course takes place. Following this time, we will be unable to offer a refund (except in certain cases) as it is unlikely we will be able to fill the course.
