Join naturalist, Richard Penny, on a fascinating stroll through the beautiful landscape of Maker and Kingsand, an area quietly revered for its exceptional natural beauty and notable biodiversity. This walk will take a closer look at features of wildlife, historical, and geological interest, with Richard sharing his insight into the significance of each detail, from the folklore of plants to the ancient story told in the geology of Kingsand beach.

This walk includes walking rough paths and slopes, and generally covers around 1.5 miles, meaning it may be unsuitable for those of limited mobility. Beginning at Maker Heights and ending at Kingsand, attendees have the option to conclude their stroll by sampling the pubs and cafes nearby, or joining Richard as he returns to Maker Heights.
