Learning about the Cornish coast's edible seaweeds, including their flavours, nutritional information, and how to begin identifying and harvesting your own. Once you've finished examining and foraging the shore, you'll can join a cookery demonstration and tasting session, showcasing how to cook the wild ingredients you've picked!
This course takes place between 10.30 and 13.30 at Sharrow, Nr Whitsand, Cornwall, suiting the day's tide. We recommend bringing a notepad and/or camera along with you to help record and later recall the wild foods you encounter, as well as a container and scissors if you'd like to collect your own ingredients. Adult foraging walk tickets are £30 and we welcome children to attend for free. Please however, do let us know if any children will be in attendance, so that we can keep track of numbers!
